It was a Friday afternoon and all the little peachlings were running out of class to celebrate spring break. Puddles cover the ground from the morning rain and little ants cover the dried-up worms that didn't make it underground. Lael splashes in the mud with her new rainboots while Honeymoon watches in horror. Erkel and GummiFrog giggle as they hold paws skipping and splashing together in the puddles. They all follow behind walking each other to each house to say goodbye. Sparkle and Peitho both wave goodbye as they run up to their houses hugging their Aunt. Honeymoon and Lael go on separate paths saying goodbye to the others leaving Erkel and Gummifrog alone. By this time the sun is high and flower petals cover the ground as they walk. The two giggle and talk about everything and anything that comes to mind. They both reach the pond and there Gummifrog finally says her goodbyes to Erkel. With one splash she's gone leaving the rat behind. Erkel walks alone and sighs.
One day I'll tell her
