Before War is not in Iphris' nature. This could be considered strange due to her hailing from a clan of blazing warriors. Indeed, war is not in her nature... but blacksmithing is. The constant pounding of hammers and the blaze of the forge have the quality of a warm lullaby to this Coatl. Carving out her own niche among the clan found Iphris becoming a renowned armor and weapons smith. While her earlier works are much more about efficiency over looks, she has since honed her skills enough to begin making gear that is as beautiful as it is efficient and deadly. When not smashing metal against metal, Iphris finds great contentment in simply scrying the flames she works with. She's surprisingly adept at it... though she does often claim that any juicy gossip she happen to have was "told to her by the forge". Her fun, personable nature makes her a popular smith to take outrageous request to. She's never wanted for more than smoke and ash-- until the strange dreams began. 
Now Iphris made herself just at home among her fellow Eleven. She was quite used to dealing with a large variety of dragons with varying personalities and found the new group as a fun new experience. She's one of the few in the group that defers to Hibernis' leadership without question. She greatly enjoys chatting with Quarra, and even Zizir when the Ridgeback can find it within himself to sit still. Pine intrigues her beyond words-- though the same couldn't be said the other way around. The Imperial shies away from the Coatl with great fear... The Coatl's arrival into Acreron land was met with particular vitriol. Though Iphris put on a perfect mask of being unaffected by the hard stares and sneers, it was incredibly clear to her quest mates that she was deeply affected. It was lucky then that the other Coatls of the clan seemed just jazzed to make her acquaintance. Aloisa and Iphris make quite the pair, and can often be found gossiping in their native tongue together by the open flame in Ralola's kitchen. She seems particularly tickled by Casus and his ability to understand them.
