Pumpkin's eyes were shining as she signed up for the Curling competition. She'd been preparing for months, in her well-tended patch. Well, more of a farm, really, considering the large amount of pumpkins and other gourds she'd produced to train 'appropriately' for this contest.

The clan was glad to see the Games finally begin, every vaguely vegetarian dragon having had pumpkin-based everything from pies to soup since the training had begun. The others had ran out of carving ideas and developed a not so sudden mistrust of the colour orange, due to failed throws of offending vegetables.

Pumpkin was just too sweet for them to resent her though, but knowing her attempts at hurling round things would be directed elsewhere, at least for a while, was a relief.
