Common, Uncommon, Unusual, Rare: Most common eye types among subspecies, no notable traits.

Bright, Pastel: It is said the light of the Stormcatcher himself shines through these bright orbs; these dragons can sometimes be blind as a byproduct of the light-coloured hue.

Goat: Dragons with these eyes are said to be particularly responsible, patient, ambitious and loyal. It is said these eyes hold the knowledge of things to come, and possibly even the warning coming from the Stormcatcher himself

Faceted: These eyes are said to be a reflection of the water into which the dragons of lore plummeted into, the mirror-like glaze of calm waters. Sometimes a calm before the storm.

Multi-Gaze: The all-seeing; these dragons are able to avoid trouble at impeccable rates. When it comes to knowing where troubles lie, there are none better than they. Also said to sometimes represent the pack of shadow fledglings of lore; The number of eyes is also their lucky number.

Primal: The ultimate dragon of lore, these primal-born wyrms are said to be direct descendants of the original two. In their eyes lies the power, but also brews a storm. What does that mean?

Dragons in this subspecies are known to be kind, compassionate, adaptable, devoted and imaginative. They also can be quite creative, empathetic, and generous, but they can also suffer from being overly emotional, impressionable, and closed off.

It is said that in the early days of Sornieth soon after the creation of dragonkind brought on by the third age, that two young lightning flight dragons wandered near The Sea of A Thousand Currents, unburdened by their brethren's struggles. They frolicked near the water's edge, unaware of the watchful eyes from the shadows.

After some peaceful time there grew an unease, though the oblivious hatchlings paid no mind until suddenly there was an ambush. From the darkness leapt some shadow flight members, determined to lay waste to the younglings. Scared, and unable to run, it was then that it's said the Stormcatcher himself spoke, urging the young dragons to leap into the sea- that he would protect them and bring them home to safety. With no options left, the hatchlings plunged into the salty brine, turning into fish and managing to escape the wrath of the shadows.

The Stormcatcher then wrote their tale into the sky as a warning to all his flight- keep eye, for there are always shadows.

And there, the constellation sits to remind all of Sorneith to this day in the form of two fish in the stars.

The constellation markings shine brightly from the placing along the torso and across the wingspan. The koi patterning further enhances the look of this ikhthýs.
