Eva was born for this. Grew up with this, never knowing anything else. And that is okay with her. She doesn't remember it herself, of course, but Eva was told that she was rescued by one of the leviathan hunters during one of their missions. She wasn't their first rescue, nor their last, as there always are undersea creatures ravaging territories and clans, somewhere. The rescued eggs, whelps and fledglings are rehomed, and some never discover their tragic origins, while others prefer to live a life that would never put them, or their loved ones, through something like this again; some wear it as a badge of honour, and others simply do not care. Eva knows, and she will never let go of that past. She does not care if that took her childhood away, does not mind that it might have resulted in her isolating herself from others, does not feel like she is missing out on some "normal" life. As soon as she was old enough to escape the orphanage and seek out Tohil and the other Leviathan Hunters, determined to get recruited and start training as soon as possible. Perhaps, anyone less determined and stubborn would have been denied, but Tohil must have sensed the anger and drive seeping from the young fae. | ____________________ |
