Atticus is an energetic dragon. He likes to tease on the other dragons in his pack, and he is usually quick enough on his feet that no one can catch him. He especially likes camouflaging himself in patches of violet- and purple-colored flowers and then jumping out at the creatures who wander by. When he isn’t playing pranks, he can usually be found asleep (all those pranks and trickery takes energy, after all!).

Atticus likes to invent stories about his magnificently particolored appearance. His most recent story is that he accidentally dyed his wings and that the spikes on his back are the teeth of his enemies. He also likes to claim that his purple coloring clearly demonstrates his royal lineage.
