 The Glimmering Gemstone “There was no skirting the issue - he was pretty, pretty in a way most women would have killed for. He had inherited a strange and delicate strain of beauty, that certainly wasn’t helped by the ribbons and jewellery artfully arranged on his person. But if he knew he was being scrutinized, he seemed to pay it no regard whatsoever; he seemed completely comfortable with himself, and he bore a spirited dignity that somehow put a fervent sparkle in his eyes.” || ❤ || Gifted with a naturally regal and sassy personality, Amethyst has an unabashed love of pretty things (bonus points if they’re purple or if they have ribbons on them) and an extremely potent proficiency with magic. In fact, he often manages to emerge from the throes of battle looking thoroughly unscathed, and nobody really knows how he does this. Within the clan, he's actually one of the oldest and most experienced dragonborn, and in fact provided much invaluable advice to Claribel in the clan's fledgling days. It's not altogether certain what he did prior to the formation of the clan, but there's a fleeting rumour in the wind that he actually knew one of Claribel's ancestors, such that he chose to stay with the clan out of a sense of loyalty to that long-ago past. Nowadays, when he's not around helping the clan, he's more likely than not out with Carl somewhere in the woods, hunting and fishing and doing all sorts of outdoorsy activities (but nevertheless managing to stay pretty and put together no matter how many nights he spends outside). |
