 The Blessed Heart ''He had an air of innocence about him, that much was clear upon first sight. He had not yet been tainted. Life had not yet seized him in its unforgiving talons, had not yet left its indelible marks. He smiled, and though the sky overhead still threatened rain, the very air around him seemed to shine with all the brilliance of a sunbeam.'' || ❤ || Guileless, shy and sweetly affectionate, Remington - or Remy, to those who know him - is one of the youngest and most pampered members of the clan. It's probably a good thing that he's often surrounded by the other more protective members of the clan, as he is perhaps a little too trusting of others and probably couldn't differentiate predator from playmate. Despite no longer being a hatchling, he still enjoys cuddling up to his clanmates - if by chance he stumbles upon a napping friend, he often unabashedly worms his way in for a snuggle. Within the clan, Remy is closest to Jesse and Laurent. His friendship with Jesse is easy enough to understand, since the latter is so relaxed about almost everything and thus never protests at the most inconveniently-timed snuggles. It's Remy's friendship with Laurent that is a little harder to comprehend - the two seem to have almost nothing in common, after all, and Laurent almost never reciprocates Remy's affection. But they're friends, somehow, and Remy never fails to get upset when Laurent goes off to fight for the clan. |
Like Castienn, Remy has an elder brother he adores very much; place him anywhere near Parnassus, and his entire body starts wiggling with intense happiness. He's all too fond of latching onto his brother and cuddling with him, which probably proves horribly inconvenient when the latter's attempting to actually go somewhere.
