» About
Ophanelle is a 4-winged seraph with a strong religious belief. She comes from an ice clan where survival was held above all, and her parents were firm believers that the Icewarden would provide for their clan. Though she no longer lives in that faraway world, she prays every day to the Icewarden for her family's safekeeping and comfort. Ophanelle has a hard time dealing with her feelings and she's very serious and deadpan. In the unforgiving isles of the Southern Icefield, there wasn't much room for complaint; it was very much a suck-it-up-or-starve way of life. She doesn't take her life in the Oasis for granted and she encourages others to do the same. Ophanelle finds a strong connection within the other religious dragons at the Oasis, and has quickly taken up residence with the Shadowborne, within the Elysium halls.

Her four-winged mutation makes her an incredibly unpredictable flyer. She can make maneuvers that many two-winged dragons cannot. Her two feathered wings are downy and very warm, which she can wrap around herself (or others) during chilly nights... though she has hardly needed to use that feature since moving away from the Icefields into the hot climate of the Oasis. She isn't necessarily a fighter in the sense that she will go out of her way to look for action the way someone like Cygnea would, but she is certainly a survivalist. She is resourceful and is able to think her way out of troubling situations instead of panic. Because of this, many dragons look to her for mentorship. In the evenings at the Oasis when she has just woken up, she leads a guided meditation routine which helps both ground her religiously and prepares her for the rest of the night. It helps the diurnal dragons relax before they turn in for the night. Her bioluminescent claws, uncommon but not unheard of in ice clans, are a rare genetic adaptation for the darkness. Lighting up the area around her with her feet, she is able to run without worry of running into/off of something. It also enables her and her clanmates to see each other in the darkness from very far away.

» She isn't shy, but she's not talkative either. She enjoys quiet company.
» She considers her best friend to be Vesper. They spend a lot of time together wandering through the night.
» When there's no one to be around, Ophanelle retreats to the Ashfall Halls where she catches up on the history of her native land.
