Mistle

Thunk. Mistle perked her ears up curiously upon hearing the noise. Excitement overcoming her want for sleep, she crawled from under her mothers wing and sneaked over to where she heard the noise. There was a purple dragon digging around! She chirped to herself, and bounded over to him.
"hi!" she whispered excitedly, beaming. The other dragon jumped slightly, before relaxing. "...hi." he whispered. "whatcha doen?" she asked, staring at him and inching closer. "packing." was his curt reply. "to do what?" she questioned. "leave."
"can I-"
"no".
"why notttt"
"because I said so."
"pleaseeeeeeeee"
"NO."
"PLEASEEEEEE"
"FINE."
"yay!" she cheered, excitedly jumping up and down. She hadn;t yet learned to fly, so jumping was her only option. she stopped and yawned, suddenly sleepy. Ignoring his protests, she crawled in-between his shoulders and promtly fell asleep dreaming of the adventure to come.

Mistle:
An energetic hatchling, Mistle spend her time alternating between attacking her brother Jace, and flopping in the grass looking at bugs. Likes to create flower crowns for her brother and the various animals she comes across. Hopes to learn how to fly soon!


Jace sighed, grumbling softly to himself. It was bad enough that she insisted on coming with him, but she also decided it was incredibly important to examine every beetle and flower they can across on the hill. "Mistle, come ON!" Jace cried exasperatedly to the pink hatchling, who was in the middle of staring at a daffodil. "but jaceeeeeeee,"she whined, "I wanna look at the flowers!" "Either come here or be left behind." he replied coldly, patience wearing dangerously thin. "Fineeeee" she grumbled, and dramatically dragged her way towards him. "Where are we going anyways?" Mistle asked, peering curiously at him. "we'll soon see, Mistle." He replied, looking out across the rolling plains of grass. "we'll soon see".
