Tyche
Unexpected Luck

Unlike her older sister Kisshoten, Tyche does not have a permanent shrine she calls home. Small, temporary shrines are often erected in whatever region she is calling home at the moment, although some of the larger cities she frequents have more permanent tributes to her. Fickle by nature, Tyche often flits from place to place on a whim, never staying in one settlement for long, much like her father Luck once did. Like her father, Tyche’s gifts are often dependent on her mood; she may bless mortals with good fortune, tipping the scales in their favor, but has also been known to curse mortals with bad luck when her mood is sour.

Tyche has a mischievous streak about her and even when she is in a forgiving or gracious mood, she will often twist the wishes of mortals to give them their blessings but not in the ways they intended, often pairing the fortuitous changes with a bout of bad luck. Unlike her father’s bad luck that often left settlements in utter ruin or his boons that left clans thriving for generations to come, Tyche’s blessings are smaller-scale, often only influencing the life of a single mortal. Her curses are nowhere near as catastrophic as her father’s, and she often leaves mortals with minor inconveniences rather than outright devastation.
