Biography

Uh-oh, looks like this agriculturalist wandered a little too far from her home lair (grxndsxn, 437722), and now she's off to see the world! If ever you feel the need to exalt, she'd really appreciate it if you could just return her to the home lair, to the 'Dragons Off To See The World' thread, here, or to the hub if you don't want another dragon in return. Please refrain from exalting her! (Lore set up by TheAquaWaves)

Important note: Please only trade this dragon on travelling dragon threads, as opposed to places such as the Auction House.

Stonecoil would like to receive a permanent home someday, so if you'd like to adopt her after she's been travelling long enough, just let her owner know!

Potted Peacevine Stonecoil is very passionate about agriculture and, as she travels through Sornieth, she records her research and notes in her journal. She especially likes to interview dragons about their favorite plant!

Clan: Serpents Clan (TheAquaWaves) Date: 3/19/21

This arcane clan seems to be very involved with their agriculture! Most of the dragons here spend their time outside. I wanted to meet the leader, Serpent, and ask about her favorite plant but she was quite busy during my stay. No problem though, I was still able to get plenty of notes. Eloise, a kind elder dragon with her own garden, told me about her favorite plant which is the Camellia Sinensis. Makes sense considering how much tea that dragon makes. She gave me some plant cuttings and some tea bags, this should serve me nicely for my next trip, I wonder where I’ll go next!

Clan:The Fount of Travelers Date: 01/29/2022
After spending some time in the rest hub, Stonecoil went to visit a clan of the Nature domain. The Fount of Travelers took her in, giving her a place to rest. She studied all of the hundreds of plants that lived here, including flowers, trees, bushes, grasses, and more. They were beautiful and she enjoyed every minute, as there seemed to be a new specimen to be found around every little crevice and corner! She talked with Axolotl, the Caretaker of the Fount of Travelers, and another traveling dragon, called Xylia, about the plants for hours. It was wonderful. After some time, she decided to leave, excited to see what other agriculture could be found in the world.

Clan: The Oculus Clan Date: 3/23/2022

Stonecoil's next stop was the network of libraries in the Arcane flight. If anyone would have obscure gardening information, it would be these knowledge-hoarding dragons! Along the way she met Phoenix, a coliseum-focused lady who didn't talk about herself. She was nice enough and patiently listened to Stonecoil's research ramblings, and the two companions decided to travel together for a time.

Stonecoil managed to unearth archives of old seed catalogs and spent many mornings combing through them to compare the plant descriptions to those of contemporary species. Phoenix was unexpectedly helpful in this endeavor: if Stonecoil expressed interest in a plant description, Phoenix would usually be able to find something similar in the coliseum. A large boon since Stonecoil was frail when it came to battle. She was able to add so many new species of grass, moss, and arcane-y luminescent plants to her specimen collections!
