 GentleBreeze Leader The Windswept Plateau is a place of serenity and joy throughout the seasons. Its residents tend to have bright, energetic personalities and the innate ability to have fun in any situation. As a result, dragons from all over Sornieth flock together here, just to experience the youthful optimism found among the beautiful green fields and brightly-colored kites. A region rich in diversity and culture, the Plateau is known for its travelers who come and go. Many young hearts seek it out, but a few lucky souls are born here. Each clan that resides on the Windswept Plateau is vastly different from its neighbor, but all of them share a wild spark. The call to adventure. GentleBreeze was no exception. Even with her traveler’s heart, however, the beginning of her story is surrounded by tragedy. |

Here we join a young mother, a deep green guardian dragon, tightly clutching her egg as she flees a pack of hungry scavengers, who’ve traveled just south of their ravaged plague lands to seek food in a more flourishing region. Unfortunately, they’d underestimated a mother’s will and strength in protecting her young. The young mother carried her egg as she flew, the pack still on her tail, across the Plateau to her brother’s clan. In desperation, she abandoned the egg just outside his borders and immediately went to lead the scavengers away. She did not return for her egg. Instead, another young dragon, the brother of this guardian mother, happened upon the little wind egg. He cared for it day in and out, never knowing who had abandoned the egg and never hearing from his siblings again. But in no time at all, GentleBreeze opened her eyes to see her first sunrise. And from that day on, she was raised in kindness, friendly dragons taking her in as one of them. It was lovely, but as young dragons do, GentleBreeze grew up. Before long, she felt the call of a guardian’s heart. To begin her Search, to find her charge. She bashfully confessed this to her leader, the dragon who’d taken her in, and to her surprise, he was thrilled. He supplied her with an adventurer’s pack and wished her the best, and her birth clan shared one tearful farewell. After that, GentleBreeze was on her own. |

She traveled many moons, happened upon many different clans. Some were welcoming, some less so. And during this Search, GentleBreeze never found herself discouraged. Instead, she was motivated more and more each day to find her home. With every dragon she met, every clan she happened upon, she discovered what it was that she wanted. She wanted a clan of her very own. And, a true exception for most guardians, she was willing to put her Search on hold to start building a family. No sooner had she made this decision, she happened upon NightShade, a young mirror who shared her ideals. He was very kind, and there was a connection between them instantly. That spark of adventure-seeking in GentleBreeze’s heart quieted itself down for the night. They stayed with one another the first night. And the second. And soon the days bled into moons, leaving NightShade to offer her to build a clan with him. She accepted with enthusiasm. GentleBreeze’s Search had come to an end. It was almost instantly after recruiting her first clanmate that she realized her clan was her charge. It’d been a long journey, but she settled down with NightShade and Tantres and began establishing their home. Over time, she adopted a mothering persona and swore she’d protect them to her dying breath. Her small family is ever-growing, and she leads all of its members with a pure heart, favoring the wind’s call to adventure. A call she will never ignore. Lore created by @HappyAccidents |
NightShade: Mate
| NightShade is Gentlebreezes lovely mate. It's no surprise for any one of their beloved family to see the two constantly together. They are practically attached by the hip. The Mirror is a very mischievous and teasing fellow. Utter joy and kindhearted soul NightShade is a very loving dragon and will often shower his clanmates with physical affection like surprise hugs |
| Tantres was the third dragon to join Gentlebreezes clan. A stoic dragon he lets nothing show on his face when interacting with outsiders of his clan. His relationship with his leader is much different than his and NightShades relationship. Tantres harbors deep respect for Gentlebreeze and will often accompany her when she goes out to gather things like food for the clan if her mate doesn't go with her. |
