Melody was born with a song in her heart and a bounce in her step. Much like her parents, she is an entertainer at heart, though her true talent lies in her musical abilities. While traveling with her parents, she met a mischievous fae with a penchant for trouble and knew that if she stayed with him, she'd never be bored or lonely.

And so, she stayed with Micah, who fell quickly for her innate charms and talented harp playing. Occasionally, she'll visit her parents over on the Starfall Isle; though the journey is long and tiresome, there are a handful of dragons in the Dorsia clan with relatives or loved ones in the same clan as her parents, so she never has to travel alone. In fact, with her harp always by her side, she makes for wonderful company on any voyage.

"Are you sure this is what you wish to do?" Micah asked. His face, once bright with laughter, was set with a grim expression.

"It's not about wishing," Melody replied, wrapping her harp with cloth before tucking it between the gnarled roots of one of the Wood's oldest trees. It would be a long time before she would hold it again, feel the strings vibrate between her claws.
