Sequoia is the clan's visiting herbologist. Though she is not of the Shadowbinder's lineage, she has made herself a home and a family in Clan Dorsia and is very well-respected amongst the clan.

Originally, she accompanied Gaia to the Wood as a favor to her deity. She had planned to return after seeing to Gaia's safe arrival, but became fascinated with the local plantlife. While the Tangled Wood is bursting with unique and interesting flora, much of it is deadly or harmful, making it difficult to concoct healing medicines when botany isn't one's expertise. She decided to set up shop here for the time being so that she can study the plantlife in its natural habitat.

In the mean time, Sequoia has made a name for herself and her homemade herbal remedies. She is known for her caring nature and is quick to laugh, always happy to help and works well under pressure. She's also terrified of fire, and everyone in the clan knows to extinguish their torches once her shop is in sight. Instead of flames, she uses jars of florescent mushrooms and fireflies to light up her home, much to the enjoyment of the clan's young draklings.
