 Chloris and her partner, Thorn, are ex-bounty hunters doing their best to settle down in the Windswept Plateau. They have a small farm where they grow and sell a few different crops, their main one being melons. Chloris is.... much better than Thorn at acting the part of sociable, easygoing local. Where she calmly exchanges pleasantries with neighbors, Thorn still jumps at shadows and stumbles through interactions before retreating to the safety of their home. If you need something from them, you'd better hope Chloris is home. Thorn will never open the door if someone comes knocking, likely hiding around a corner with whatever makeshift weapon was closest.

Chloris loves her partner, and she wishes he had an easier time settling than he has. The two were forced into an early retirement due to a few bad jobs (she swears they were set up, them being given bad information that many times in a row is no coincidence) that left them looking back over their shoulders. They're taking the time in the Windswept Plateau to rest and recuperate... or at least try to. Farming wasn't meant to be a permanent solution, but Chloris thinks if Thorn could learn to settle, she'd be happy if it were.
