Eko

History
Eko is the eldest of Aegus and Miru's first clutch, and the first to leave the nest. He showed promise as a scout for the kingdom, and Aegus, ready to let a new generation lead the front lines, made Eko an apprentice to the royal Ranger's Guild. However, Eko did not enjoy his place in the Guild as much as his father thought he would. Eko never issued blame to Aegus, though; the Fae never spoke up about his desires. But still, he found himself trapped in the palace's lavish corridors and dinner parties. He wanted something freeing. Something more.
One summer night, a letter was left on the nest of Eko's room. It read:

"To my parents, sisters, guildmembers, and kingdom,
I have decided to leave the walls of Murloss and find my path as a forest ranger. Do not issue any search parties, and do not point talons at any dragon. I did this on my own accord, and if there should be blame, let it rest on my shoulders alone.
I did not leave because I hated anyone, nor was this an act of treason against the rule of Erloss. I hold my family and kingdom close to my heart and will defend them if I must. But my calling is elsewhere, outside these walls. I am sorry if I have disappointed anyone.
I will be alright.

Ever since Eko left Murloss, hardly anyone has seen him. Some say he is dead or captured by the Beastclans. Others believe he is still alive, forging bonds with nature's creatures. Eko lets them conspire. He has the woods to tend to, after all.
