Miru

History
Miru is the spunky little Fae that runs the combined shop and bar The Sleeping Sphynx. She's infamous for her ability to hold endless conversations with her clients, half of which simmer into something a little... concerning. Not that Miru's complaining. She enjoys being the batty shopkeeper and hopes to continue that role.
But before claiming her title as resident nutcase, she was claiming other dragon's treasure. A young Miru was left in the crags of the mountains by her mother, who couldn't—or wouldn't—take care of her anymore. She learned the hard way how to survive, foraging for bugs and bitter grasses among the stones. Miru escaped to the kingdom of Murloss the second she learned to fly. But even then, life as a small, bitter Fae had its troubles. She preyed on dragons' pockets in the kingdom's streets for most of her teenage years. It wasn't until she tried to steal from the first owner of The Sleeping Sphynx that she stopped. The shop's owner took pity on her and taught her the tools of his trade. He also helped Miru slowly regain her trust in the race that had left her behind.
No one really knows how Miru ended up with Aegus. Perhaps she found him endearing whenever he groaned at her rambles. They've been together for years, though, so they must tolerate each other a little more than what is assumed.
