Personality
  • Once the headstrong, hawkish head of King Erloss's army, a retired Aegus has since toned down his temper to indulge in life's simple joys.
  • Patient with others... though his tolerance has very small limits. But at least it's there.
  • Aegus believes that all dragons, no matter their morals, deserve some sort of kindness.
  • He's basically a grumpy old man with some nuggets of wisdom underneath.
History
Aegus may have a stony demeanor, but deep down, there lies a heart of... more stone. Battle-worn from enemy raids and wars alike, the old dragon was raised in a life of nobility before finding his Charge: protecting others with the army. His upbringing would've made him a thoughtful strategist were it not for his terrible impulsiveness. He was much better with swords than words, anyway.
While treading on this glory-coated trail, Aegus found himself frequenting a particularly annoying dragon's shop. Miru, the shopkeeper, spotted the handsome warrior sipping pomegranate juice and immediately latched onto him. She would talk his ear off for hours on end whenever he came in. Aegus, meanwhile, would grimace, but he secretly enjoyed Miru's enthusiasm and wit. It came as a shock to everyone when the two announced their marriage years later. Aegus and Miru are now getting old and hope to take things slow now that they have retired.

Trivia
  • Aegus is surprisingly good with hatchlings. He loves his own children dearly.
  • Aegus hates the cold and would rather jump in a lava pit than endure autumn's chill.
  • He can draw, but thinks his art is terrible. Miru disagrees and steals his work to show it to random passersby.
