Nyarlathotep

Nyarlothotep is certainly one many would consider to be an enigma. While few would compare his mystery to Morganite's, nobody's quite sure where this outspoken Ridgeback came from. When asked about it, he claims he comes from places with dark and foreboding names- all of which are fictional. His unusual eyes also made it difficult to trace his origins, but those who came into frequent contact with him were able to determine that he wielded Arcane magic. Most logical minds believe he came from the Focal Point, where the first reports of his reign of terror came from, though there are those with more radical theories, one example being that he was a synthetic creation of the Arcanist let loose. Though no matter the stance, none of it has been concretely confirmed.

It was through Grimm that Nyarlothotep learned of Morganite's clan. He found the Lightning-borne mumbling to himself about the clan while alone in the Starwood Strand. He attempted to follow Grimm back for an ambush, but his prey was much sharper than he expected. A duel between the two ensued, and while Grimm was ultimately defeated, Nyarlothotep spared him, as he enjoyed their fight too much to kill him. In an act of gratitude, the typically chaotic and ruthless dragon helped heal Grimm as much as he could.

Once Grimm could head back to his clan's headquarters, Nyarlothotep followed, much to the former's chagrin. When the two arrived, Nyarlothotep proceeded to make himself home. Although the other clan members frowned at the Arcane havoc wrecker forcing his way into the clan, none of the made any effort to stop him, as founder Morganite couldn't bring herself to kick a dragon out. That, and he proved an effective guard with his massive strength, one that the clan very much needed at the time he joined.
