SabbaticalPeach Traveling Secretary Uh-oh, looks like this shy desk-clinger wandered a little too far from his home lair (Hyzenthlaay, 452562), and now he's off to see the world! If ever you feel the urge to exalt, we'd really appreciate it if you could instead just send him off in the 'Dragons Off To See The World' thread. If you don't want another traveler in return, he can be sent to his original home via the Crossroads, or to this rest hub. You can also adopt him permanently if you don’t want him leaving your lair - just contact Hyzenthlaay and let her know (it’s good for her notes)! Many people have worked very hard on this traveling dragon, and exalting him would be an absolute shame. Please don’t do it! |

SabbaticalPeach's knee-shaking presence seems to be wasted on paperwork, though his mentor Ming likes to remind him of a simple truth: on the rare occasion he'll need to cut past the red tape, intimidation will work wonders. Unlike some of his more war-minded siblings, this Banescale is wholly uninterested in the battlefield, and is in fact quite meek when forced from behind his ever-towering stack of Mavenlark's forms, transcripts, and requests for expedited requests. This of course means that he is the largest of his family, and towers quite prominently over everyone else he works alongside in the Central Parlor. SabbaticalPeach is essentially a secretary to a secretary, the understudy of the powerhouse of paperwork that is Ming. Even with her quick claws, things can pile up when one works in a giant trade city - and thus SabbaticalPeach picks up where Ming must leave. He doesn't mind being in the shadows. Doing tasks uninterrupted is his solace. While the two remain professional, it's quite evident to anyone who sees them in action that Ming treats SabbaticalPeach like an adopted son. This is rewarded by the Banescale by Ming being one of the few dragons he feels truly comfortable associating with outside of work, on the rare occasions that the two get the opportunity to breathe. Though secretly, a certain musician with a penchant for giving him proof-of-donation returns to sign and notate has been on his mind... He's been temporarily sent to your clan at your leader's request to create relations between themselves and Clan Mavenlark. |
