Shagbark is a fun and calm dragon. He is open, and doesn't hesitate to tell others how he feels. The epitome of an extrovert, nix is very bright and lights up the room.

As time went on, Apep was absolutely a dragon who caught nix eye. He adored their braids, their personality, their quirks. He thought he made his crush pretty obvious, so when Apep approached him one evening and nervously brought up what Archspell had asked them earlier that day, he swore his heart had failed a bit.

"Well, I do like you," Shagbark said, attempting to sound calm but his voice was a bit high.

"H- You- What??" Apep gasped, stumbling. Their braids fell into their face as they moved backwards.

Shagbark's eyes widened. Had he just messed up? Nix began to back away.

Apep froze at nix movement, moving forward quickly as he blurted.

"No- No, wait- I- I like you too! A lot!"

After their long-awaited confession, it wasn't long until the idea of having hatchlings were brought up. Turns out, they were the first gay couple in the clan to want hatchies!! Archspell was thrilled! He easily brought up how they could adopt, or ask for a donor. Luckily for them both, a timid gaoler by the name of Enoki was happily willing to help them. A few moons later, three baby gaolers were born.

Their three kids, Macaron, Graham, and Biscotti, were their entire world. :]
