C O N S T E L L A T I O N Astronomer Quiet | Solemn | Introverted | Kind She was born amidst the stars and descended upon Sornieth like a falling star, shining bright. She landed in the land of Ice, the Southern Icefield. The land was cold and unforgiving, but a kind group of creatures called dragons took her in, thinking she was kin. They named her after the word for groups of stars, Constellation, and she was delighted to receive a name that brought her close to her creators. Constellation didn’t mind living with them at first, dragons were interesting and her new form comfortable, yet the clan never felt like a true home and she had little time to do what she truly wanted, which was to study stars and see to what they and her eyes were telling her. It wasn’t long before Constellation decided to journey away from the land she had descended onto and see the world. Constellation is different. She is a dragon only on the outside, for the Ridgeback body holds a miracle born among stars, capable of seeing more than a dragon’s eye ever can. |

The world is never still, constantly changing in the most miniscule ways, and from those changes result in what a dragon sees. Constellation wonders what it is that she sees and in recent years has settled on calling the vortexes and streams energy, for something so beautiful can’t be anything else but that which powers the world itself. Constellation ended up settling in the Windwalker Tribe, a group of dragons that didn’t care about her oddities and let her stay. It was here that she was introduced to art. She became enamored with the idea of expressing what she saw on a canvas and happily began studying the uses of various paints and other tools. Constellation is a quiet dragon, preferring the company of the wide sky with twinkling stars over her clanmates. Her voice has an airy quality and she seems to be always gazing through you, never seeing what is in front of her, which angers many dragons believing she is ignoring them. Constellation is an astronomer and spends more of the night gazing at them, muttering under her breath and either paining or scribbling notes. |

| Her eyesight allows her to see the far into space without her having to use a telescope or different tool. Constellation usually doesn’t share what she sees and if she does, she does so with hesitation, well aware of the many boggled looks she’ll receive, but doesn’t mind sharing stories with little hatchlings that snuggle up to her during the night as she watches the stars. She’s grown fond of the starry-eyed balls of fluff which follow her around and mothers them whenever she can. |
