Absolutely despises Fire and Light patrons, although she is not completely racist and can respect those who are good warriors.
Her hatred of Fire stems from her exile; her hatred of Light from a crushing defeat.
While she has abandoned the family trade of metalworking she still hoards weapons and occasionally works to refine them when the clan is under pressure.
Her beloved mate caught her familiar while travelling in the Boreal Wood, and like her it is a hopeless amalgamation of Fire and Plague.

With a tendency to view problems as a matter of brawn vs. brawn, there was not much hope for the crazed Guardian when she left her home clan to begin her Search.

Well, she didn't exactly leave. She was exiled.

Forced from her home in the Ashfall Waste on account of an incident in which her excessively violent tendencies destroyed a long-standing alliance, her soldering fury has been turned against all who bear the orange eyes of those who drove her away.

Determined to find something worth protecting, she flew and flew, earning a reputation as a ferocious berserker as she went. One day she happened to enter the Abiding Boneyard, and in that expanse of nothingness she found dragons - one of which was her Charge. She immediately embraced the clan, which was so full of diversity and kindness, and has never since looked back.

Her fated Charge was none other than the clan matriarch, Ichiko. The mighty Guardian being the Charge of such an infamous beast was a surprise to many, but Ichiko accepts the protection with the type of grace only a matriarch can muster. Sayomi has proved her worth too many times to count, and has since been elevated to a position of honor among her lair-mates as a guardian warrior.

Now thoroughly converted from Fire to Plague, Sayomi is feverishly supportive of the Plaguebringer - she would even be called a priestess, were she was not so violent. Her Fire nature drives her, giving her energy and ferocity beyond that of a normal dragon, and when she is encased in berserker fury lava spews from her mouth. If that doesn't kill you it's more than likely her vicious tooth-and-claw tactics will, and being heavily armored by merit of breed she holds nothing back. She has no care for herself, and despite being small for a Guardian her size is still vastly superior to most other dragons.

Sayomi's mate, Tsuyomi, is dedicated to her heart and soul. They are rarely seen apart, and their children are well-trained for battle, often representing the Plaguebringer in clans abroad. While Tsuyomi chooses to wear armor, however, Sayomi wears the bones of dragons she has slain as a grisly reminder that being small does make a dragon any less ferocious.
