A soldier through and through, Caderyn has been well trained to follow orders. He is disciplined and most often uses his strength to protect others. But this dragon has a temper and once it is unleashed, the guardian is very difficult to reign in. Discipline helps funnel the rage in battle, because Caderyn will naturally fall into formation and unleash his fury for the benefit of his battalion. But when the rage is unleashed outside of battle and there is no channel to control his rage, that is when there is trouble.

Often a Guardian's wrath can be calmed by their charge. In Caderyn's case, this only makes things worse. For his charge is another Guardian, Harbinger who is even less stable than her protector and dismissive of his defense. Caderyn hopes that his presence will eventually whittle away Harbinger's walls, but his cynical nature only causes this hope to further shorten the fuse on his temper. As such, the clan leaders ensure that whenever possible, Caderyn is away with his regiment where his unleashed temper can be controlled somewhat. And if Harbinger follows along too in her quest to crush the beast clans, few complain to have the strength of another Guardian at their back.
