Most tend to overlook Fio when asking around for Clan Rosebud's wind representative. Despite her aesthetic suiting her flight perfectly, no one expects a flightless breed to represent Wind. They're even more surprised to learn that she's also a flight instructor. So Fio is used to getting funny looks from strangers who visit her classes, but she brushes it off with a "Oh, let me guess. It's because I'm a woman isn't it?" Little do they know that she's met the Windsinger up close and personally, and he himself adored and approved of her as an official Wind flight ambassador.

When she's not fighting the patriarchy busy with classes, she likes to study the most up-to-date technology for flying vehicles and prosthetics. This usually results in chill afternoons with the wingless mountainclimber Monte, infodumping to him about the latest advances and the potential devices the future may have to offer dragons who are disabled or struggle to fly. One would think she studies so diligently so that she might one day fly, but she seems to have no interest in flying herself. All her interest is in seeing others soar through the skies.

Her hobby on the side is lion dancing. She's a member of a lion dance troupe who practice every month in preparation for the Lunar New Year. Her favorite part is dressing up in costume, and chomping on the noggins of eager hatchlings, to give them good luck going into the new year.
