Maybe I stand out. Maybe I don’t like suffering. Maybe I’m empathetic. Maybe I’m different. And that’s okay.
Though most dragons in the Clan of Outcasts were kicked out of their old Clans because they are sick or injured, Gonga is the polar opposite. Not a lot of Plague clans are open to having a doctor in their midst, eradicating illnesses and—ugh—healing. Gonga grew up surrounded by pain and worked his tail off to get his doctor’s license, and now he’s out to help anyone he can.

A smart dragon would ask why Gonga has settled in a Plague clan, where he’s always being glared at for being a doctor. A wise dragon would take one look at those powerful jaws and keep their own shut.
