"Choose your battles wisely. Fight if you truly must. There is no shame in a tactical retreat if that means you are given a chance to fight another day - if not on your terms, then at least with less of a disadvantage. One who throws caution to the winds will sooner find themselves defeated than one who meticulously plans out every single step and is flexible about it."

dMKhLV1.png - The Mage (debatable, can be interchanged with Rogue)
- Named for her grandmother for good reason. Their personalities are shockingly similar, at least when Dawn Sr was still a reasonable ruler (if a bit cunning) and not an emotional trainwreck.
- Relatively reasonable
- Pragmatic
- Crown Princess, hence she understands the need to stay alive and on the sidelines so there's someone to take over if Elio and Phoenix die. Doesn't mean she can't act from the sidelines, though.
- Very... on the ball when it comes to amassing power behind the scenes
- Knows that having everyone owe her so she can pull in favours is advantageous to her
- Made it a point to have multiple contingency plans in place for everyone she meets
- Has powerful magic, but deliberately appears weaker than she truly is

Eileen, who is politically active, can be seen helping other dragons after the civil war, but only if she deems it worthy of her time. She's especially helpful if she thinks she can use it as a bargaining chip somewhere else, ie: "Ah, it's a shame I can't be there, as I'll be donating my time to help rebuild the soup kitchen." Sometimes, she can even talk Amalia into joining her for such endeavors, but it's mostly to have another person there to say "Yep, she really did the thing."

She would never miss an actually important political event however, and would actively shrug off or ignore dragons in need if there were something political going on, leading some to believe she's a bit two-faced. Amalia will occasionally try to call her out on her actions, but to no avail.

((Imagining some dragons discussing in a tavern: "Maybe we can get one of the royal kiddos to help bring attention to this thing we need help with!" "Naw, I heard there's an important dragon coming to town this week. Aurealis will be busy training up or guarding them, Eileen will be hovering around the castle and I'm sure that Amalia will be too busy asking them questions. They're not gonna help us."))

Believes Aurealis to be too reckless and, honestly, far too idealistic for her liking. Still, she can see how this behaviour will let her manipulate him to her liking. Knows how to push his buttons just right to get what she wants from him without him realising.

Finds Amalia an interesting dragon to debate philosophy with when the latter is free (which she isn't most of the time, being absorbed in her research). Sometimes they discuss how battles could've been avoided with discussion and bartering to make them stronger for the future.

Looks up to Elio as a leader, not so much as an intellectual. Given the civil war, though, she understands why he doesn't necessarily have a background in the finer arts.

Sees Phoenix as a loving mother figure, though recognises that this could potentially be a weakness someone exploits. Surprisingly likes hearing her stories about when she was younger, and this may be one of the few things she carried over from childhood.
