Ardent has always been one to do what she wants. Unlike her brother, she didn't waste time searching for love from an absent mother. She did, however, take full advantage of having a father who never could tell her 'no.' If her brother was the attention-seeker, then she was that kid you were warned to stay away from. Fights, thievery, lies, vandalism, and underhand dealings; Ardent was a delinquent and had no shame in it. Her entire look is one that says "back off."

The young guardian got her first job as a trader for illegal goods. Beastclan fur and feathers, stolen eggs, pilfered scrolls and archives, snatched pearls, and anything else considered valuable. It gives her a thrill and keeps a good stash of coin under the rug.
She's hardly home anymore.

She's also one of the only dragons besides Aegean who is aware of what Hugo has done. She wasn't at the vicinity when it all went down but word travels fast about a sly banescale with teeth sharper than his lies.
Not that she's going to let that secret slip out. For one thing, it's none of her business and she also has no desire to be in his radar.
