Goshi didn't grow up in the most stable environment. His father didn't learn much from raising two kids before him and was just marginally more mature by the time Goshi hatched. His mother was out of the picture before he was born. His egg was slightly cracked when it was laid and his brood-mother figured he wouldn't even live to see the world. She took the rest of the clutch and left Bramblepelt with one tiny little egg that had a 50/50% chance of never opening. Of course, Bramble ended up with a young son and another thing to remind him of why he fails at being an adult. Goshi grew up cared for and loved but was left to his own devices often. Estelle was a huge help in getting the egg open and caring for Goshi when he was a helpless infant.

Most of his time was spent following either his dad or older brother like a tiny snapping shadow. Goshi was a menace in daycare and disruptive in classes. He forgot he had a sister half the time because she was never home. Basalt was one of his more stable role models growing up and he enjoyed sitting with him when he was on duty. Over time he grew to explore more of the outside walls. One day he discovered a disgruntled raptorik refugee in one of Adelina's many webbed traps. Goshi cut him loose.
Curious and hyper, Goshi trailed after the avian and discovered he was a thief of sorts. The kind that stole back what rightfully belonged to the beastclans. Seeing the young dragon as no real threat, Aristul invited him to his tent and from that day on, they struck up an odd friendship.
Now Goshi is an avid helper of Aristul. Snatching and swiping back obvious beastclan artifacts and treasures taken from them by dragonkind. The young mirror fully supports his friend and believes he's not truly committing any crimes since the dragons stole the items first.

Considering Goshi's family, it's unlikely he'll be caught anytime soon or even reprimanded by them. Basalt and Bramble couldn't be asked to care about the fact that he steals. As for Ardent? She'd probably just spend more time with him if she knew.
Outside of this line of 'work' he's much more playful and ready to get into hi-jinks for a good laugh. He's made fast friends with Rohan and Conner. They've been close companions since childhood.
