-The innerworkings of the SAR Facility do not go unnoticed to all those in the Starwood village. Their family has been affected by the dangerous and bizarre secret goings-on around there since before they were even alive, and has haunted them all the way into adulthood. Everyone can say what they want about it, that there's no need to worry that it's just an archive on ghost stories and old fairy tales and there's no real monsters, but Arion knows differently. They've seen it with their own eight two eyes. Those who call themselves dragons but are nothing of the sort, those who are capable of things that no one should be, those who are nothing recognizable to the idea of reality that they had been fed. Arion knows something about the world is wrong. But Arion knows there is something wrong with them too. And the more they learn, the more involved they get, the more they change. And yet they keep at it. Weaving stories like a spider weaves its web of the terrible world around them. Pulling together plans and people like they're puppets on strings. And keeping it all as under wraps as they possibly can- lest the Facility decides they rather don't like having eight-legged creeps running around unsupervised.
-Arion is..... an odd sort. They're constantly on edge, distrustful of practically every person they meet regardless of how close they are. Driven only by careful, repeated routines and rituals, and carefully constructed plans that they never let slip of to a single soul. It'd be manageable if maybe it just stopped there but..... see, thing is- when you're super anxious about everything, you like to do whatever you can to feel more certain about what you're doing. When you're dealing with people and have serious trust issues with them, sometimes it's just a lot easier to get that certainty by watching from a safe distance than actually engaging. And when you're a great liar who seems too spineless to ever act against anyone, you can get away with a lot of observation. They never act out of malice though, don't get them wrong. Arion acts only in attempts to ensure the safety and protection of others! They just.... are really bad at judging what is alright to do in the name of protection. And their own selfishness can cloud that judgement more.
