______ While not a serial heartbreaker like Sif, Orpheus is no stranger to playing with other dragons' emotions. He is skilled in getting others to fall madly in love with him, stringing them along for a night, then leaving them longing for him. Those he targets never recover from his love. No one can compare to him once they've got a taste, and that residual misery is what he feeds on.

______ "Please, stay, I promise it will be worth your time…"

The Skydancer laying in front of him purred, dragging claws down his chest and Orpheus internally smirked. He had her right where he wanted her.

"I wish I could, but I have obligations elsewhere my dear Solara, I am loath to do so."

He dragged his claw gently down her face, the melancholy. It was delectable. She pouted at him, hiding the pain she felt. He'd stay for an hour or two more before vanishing and moving on. But for the moment, he basked in the direct misery of being next to her…

Later that evening Orpheus was in a high class party many cities away. He circled the ballroom laughing and chatting as he looked for a mark, and then he spotted them.

A lone pearlcatcher, clearly envious of the couples in the room. A perfect mark. Making his way over to them, Orpheus prepared to sweet talk and charm them. Repeat his cycle. Oh how the misery would be sweet...
