Name Meaning: the most senior commander of a fleet or navy; a butterfly which has dark wings with bold red or white markings.

Melan Variation; Mirror:
[ the usual result after performing the Ritual. These creatures live inside the Cult, and easily pass off as members of a given Role. But make no mistake- they are no longer dragons. They're unmistakably loyal to Njada, and Njada only. Their reflexes and resistance to disease is uncanny, coupled with their unique ability which varies per breed of dragon they once were. Many have come to call them Impostors, for they impersonate dragons, but are no longer ones themselves ]

Mirror: The most common breed to Mutate into a Zealot, given that they are native Plague creations already. These Zealots are perhaps the most aggressive of the lot, with a high lust for blood and spreading contagion. They hunt in packs, mainly at night, and have been known to join normal Mirrors with relative ease. They are hostile towards every breed however. Their saliva contains an anti-coagulent toxin which actually increases the rate at which injured victims bleed out. Their tails are known to be sharp like piano wire.

Melanistic: a surplus of melanin has made this dragon creature darker than its brethren. It gains an advantage in dark terrain and night, and its hide is more resilient to sun damage and infection. Usually built in a more robust way than the others, gaining points in attack and defence

  • Coyote is a major mythological figure for most Native American tribes, especially those west of the Mississippi. Like real coyotes, mythological coyotes are usually notable for their crafty intelligence, stealth, and voracious appetite. However, American Indian coyote characters vary widely from tribe to tribe. In some Native American coyote myths, Coyote is a revered culture hero who creates, teaches, and helps humans; in others, he is a sort of antihero who demonstrates the dangers of negative behaviors like greed, recklessness, and arrogance; in still others, he is a comic trickster character, whose lack of wisdom gets him into trouble while his cleverness gets him back out. In some Native coyote stories, he is even some sort of combination of all three at once.
  • Among the Pueblo tribes, the coyote was believed to have hunting medicine. Zuni hunters kept stone effigies of coyotes as one of their six hunting fetishes, associating coyotes with the west and the color blue. Coyotes are also used as clan animals in some Native American cultures. Tribes with Coyote Clans include the Cahuilla tribe, the Mohave, the Hopi (whose Coyote Clan is called Isngyam or Ish-wungwa), the Zuni (whose Coyote Clan name is Suski-kwe,) and other Pueblo tribes of New Mexico. Some tribes, such as the Pomo, also had a Coyote Dance among their tribal dance traditions.
