Bianca
When Bianca was younger, she wanted to be a writer. Her parents were always supportive of her passions, but her mother only ever read academic texts, and her father told her sadly that he never actually learned to read -- his loom patterns were visual, so he hadn't asked Apira to teach him, either.

But Bianca wanted to write stories, not paragraphs of text about rocks. And she quickly realized she had no one to teach her.

She considered finding one of her older siblings, but her parents had taken a sabbatical in between her nest and their last one, and so she was much younger than her nearest siblings and possessed no way to locate them.

In her hometown of Saibhreas, there was a large travelers' inn, and there she heard many stories she itched to write down. But those weren't her stories, so while they were good practice, she felt a little like she was cheating.
