Biography

||The Glimmer of Hope||



Break is everything you could hope for from a nature flight dragon, her very existence within an area seems to make everything around her flourish. More than that though, she seems to have the same effect on those around her. People describe seeing her as providing them the same serene calm one gets when they see the sun again after a long stint of darkness. Depending on who you ask, they compare her likeness to different things. Varying from daybreak to dusk to a ray of sun on a miserable day. Break loves any comparison other dragons make. Even plague dragons can’t help but admit her presence gives them the same calming effect.

Due to Break’s uncanny calming capabilities, she has become an ambassador of sorts for the clan. She often travels with Optio on important business. Or works with Flossy and Caramel when some of the beasts that they care for if things are getting out of hand. There are limits to her ability of course, if a major fight breaks out and things get super heated there is little she can do. It also works best when she first enters an area, as people adjust to her presence they are less affected.

Calming others isn’t her only special ability though. You see, Break is actually able to influence the weather. Only very locally though, so if she was able to make it rain it would only be centred on the lair itself. However, this ability is effected by her emotions. She can use the ability outside of her emotions, so she doesn’t need to be upset to make it rain but if she is feeling very upset, it’s hard to keep things under wraps for long. Usually it’s a back up for when her calming effect fails. For example if the beast fight she’s come to break up doesn’t even bat an eye at very arrival, she will summon a sharp sudden rainfall to throw them off. Often distracting them enough to be separated. Harder to use this on fellow dragons, but there have been times where her ability to change the weather have given the clan or excursion she is with the advantage. August is also a big fan of her, as she helps him keeps his crops watered in times of drought.
