Emmet

||The Driven Force||




New to the clan and the world itself lies Emmet. A dragon of formidable stature and kind nature. Emmet was first found by the crew who joined the efforts of the Dustcarve dig. While admiring her statue form, which is that of speckled red granite, she and all the other obelisks changed and emerged into the world and she latched onto the crew who decided to show her what the world had to offer. Overwhelmed and a little lost she decided to join the clan in hopes of finding her feet and place in the world. Currently she is an apprentice scholar, learning the history of the world to better understand it.

Her closest friend and ally is Beclan, one of the clans oldest members. He was at the forefront of the groups efforts during the dig and admittedly the first living being Emmet ever laid her eyes upon. She finds a lot of comfort in his soft brown fur even if their size difference makes him more of a plush toy to her. When she is feeling lost she will crawl into his den, squeezing in and encircling him and the pair just lay there together in silence. The great looming presence of Emmet keeps the comparatively tiny tundra safe and the small bundle of warmth that is Beclan soothes her troubled mind and grounds her again. Unsurprisingly he was the one to help her come up with a name, she went a good week or so without having an actual name. One evening when bouncing ideas off each other she really liked the idea of the name Emmet. It means entire, universal. To her, it means she is whole.

In her efforts to learn everything she can about the new world, she shares it with Beclan who also has a strong desire for knowledge. However his poor memory as a tundra makes that difficult. Emmet has learned a great deal of compassion just by learning to accommodate him. So many members of dragonkind tend to overlook tundra's as they find them hard to get along with, placing so much of their belief in friendship in the others poor memory. Due to her amazing levels of perseverance in a very short space of time the pair have overcome a lot of barriers together. You can often find them reconvening after a long day of work and sharing everything they can, to keep it easier for Beclan they often show each other things by hand rather than mouth.
