Reef is a ruthless and efficient leader, who uses her charisma and skills to achieve the previously impossible. She her life with headstrong boldness, for even though she's realistic, she always strives towards more and better. Her ability to herd cats might be extraordinary, but her cold and often detatched attitude has led to many crushed feelings and more enemies. Reef is an opinionated dragon, who loves the rush of a good challenge. She believes in working smart, not more, and putting plans into action instead of sitting on them. Before long, Reef had amassed a large empire of six fleets, each with their own banner and chief. The 'Princess' herself flew the red flag and used both magical prowless and diplomatic skills to unite all leaders under one alliance. Next she established a strict code of laws and a central framework. This protected the weak from exploitation and allowed her captains to weather tough storms. With strategic investments, Reef created an unyielding fleet of coastal-aerial raiders and inter-clan merchants. Due to her large socioeconomic influence, she became the target of various governors. After ensuring a capable heir and settling most of her fleet with established clans, Reef retired to the Isle as the head of water management, maritime production and maren affairs. The ridgeback also plans most celebrations in the Islet. In her youth, these brought her much business, joy and hope. Now she is delighted to bring laughter to hatchling eyes. Through years of hustling, trading and command, Reef has learned to use her own appearance as a tool and a shield. To fly under the radar, Reef uses rich garb to veil her skilled magic, keen, runic sight and salt stained scales. Habits are much harder to conceal. Much of her talk retains the merchant's swiftness and she still strides with a ruler's weight over silty wood; bare-feet, quick and sure, a windblown tinkle in her wake. |
