Main Theme: Wine Red by the hush sound

______ Hel is Shiva's eldest daughter, and is the one that most likely will take over the network should something happen to her parents. Under her mother's tutelage, Hel has gained a wide variety of spells to use upon her unwitting victims, but she favours soul magic the most. Hel has learned to bind souls to herself or other objects by weaving them into her desired design, but it is a delicate art. One misplaced string or careless error and the subject will die, not that Hel particularly cares…

______ Chernobog watched in silence as his wife sat motionless in front of him. Had he not known better, he'd say she was dead, but he did know better. She was weaving.

Chernobog may not do much with magic, much preferring to get his paws dirty, but that didn't mean he didn't appreciate his beloved's art. The way she pulled the souls from their hosts, converting them into thread she could twist and manipulate into making a puppet. While not as intelligent as Hastur's pets, his wife's thralls got the job done.

Besides, while Hastur's magic was bombastic and easily recognizable, Hel's was more subtle. Hers was the whisper of a knife before it slid into an unsuspecting victim's throat, while Hastur's was a gunshot.

Both had appeal, of course they did, they were powerful forms of magic. However, Chernobog would admit he was biased, as with anything that came to Hel. In his eyes she was perfect, and that would never change.
