Main Theme: The Devil Wears a Suit and Tie by Colter Wall

______ The devil in the fog, the fiendish whisper in the shadows. Those are the names spoken in hushed tones around the fires of clans who have had a near brush with he of many faces and names, Fachnan. He of course wasn't always like this, but his fall from Carnage Ichor sentry is trivial to him in the grand scheme of things, just like his prey. Now Fachnan is a master of disguise, changing names and faces as easily as his prey breathes. Each perfectly structured mask is tailor made to his current target, leading them to make the choices he wants to bring about their own downfall. He prefers the power hungry or the greedy, finding their frivolous desires highly entertaining, especially when mixed with inflated egos. In some ways they remind him of his old superiors, but that just makes their ruination even sweeter. His loathing for his old allies has led to his helping Shiva set up her network, earning him the title of Papa Fachnan or just Papa.


______ "Now this is an unexpected sight, a newly fallen Polymath. What's your name? I'm dying to know."

Fachnan internally scoffed. The female malice Ichor in front of him was clearly a born malice, but he wouldn't let that intimidate him.

"You don't need to know. Now out of my way, I have places to be."

He snarled at her and all the witch did was smile at him.

"I really don't think you do, you're a new polymath with no training in how to use your gifts or adjust to the loss of the Plaguebringer's gifts."

Fachnan glared at her but paused and faced her, using his greater size to attempt to be intimidating. She just seemed entertained.

"Your point?"

Her grin widened into a demonic smile that seemed to pull him in. But Fachnan caught himself and narrowed his eyes at her.

"You need a teacher, and I am in the market for a companion" she stepped closer, "So I purpose this; you travel with me, and I'll teach you everything I know."

Fachnan considered his options before grunting.

"Fine. But if you try anything, I will not hesitate to end you."

She just smirked in victory, brushing past him, and trailing her tail under his chin.

"I wouldn't dream of it. Now, since we still haven't been introduced, I am Shiva."

"Fachnan."

"Lovely name, now shall we head out?"

She walked away without waiting and Fachnan trailed after his new 'partner.'
