In Clan Stellae, there were rumors of a spirit that lived in the caves. A creature half-dragon, half-ghost who'd been there from time immortal. The rumor was built on half-heard truths. Veloden was not yet a spirit, though she did speak with them in her cave. As such, it was true that there were spirits who existed - not lived - within the caves, but she wasn't one of them.

Veloden was a spirit dancer, one of many who existed though she was the only one among clan Stellae. Her role in the clan was limited, and as such she hardly minded the misunderstandings, rumors, and half-truths that wound their way around her name within the clan. The fae was only really involved in big-picture questions after all, gaining guidance from the spirits of ancestors through her dances shrouded in darkness and guided only by the light of the fireflies who'd made their home with her.
