Biography

Overview:

Uimo is the son of an exiled princess and is known for his apathy and morally challenging views of the world and dragons overall. The supernatural abilities he wields generated from a mutation, as he was born not as one element, but a condensed mix of them instead; specifically wind and lightning.

He frequently uses his ability to preform something similar to mind-control. This is replicated through air manipulation, an ability he possesses in which he can alter chemicals bonded with the oxygen a dragon inhales within seconds. It is safe to not make him angry or upset in any way, as he does not hold back; he can and will have a dragon drop dead through poison inhalation.

At first glance Uimo seems like very shy and friendly dragon, and many even find him absolutely adorable. But he carries a cruel way of thinking and attempting to truly understand him means coming to terms with his lack of compassion for others. However, his lack of compassion is only held to strangers and acquaintances - and he truly does care for dragons he calls friends.

Extra:

- Nothing about him resembles his father.

- He is practically Aurai's father, as he had found and raised her himself. However, you would have never guessed with their starkly contrasting personalities.

- Has a older brother named Limni in the Dreaming Pisces, the Amethyst's alliance. They seem to have never met however.

Requested from TacoTequila

A princess exalted for her gender and her companion, filled with loyalty and bravery, trailed after her, the lovers ran away to find in a settlement located on the borders of the Amatista, to lay in peace without being in the middle of the ongoing war or the glaring and disappointed eyes of the public living under the kingdom’s realm. The temporary home they lived in is where a small spiral named Uimo would be born, holding a similar color pattern to his parents. He grew up quickly, he was quiet, yet learnt fast.

He read through books and novels in only hours, he was quite smart. His parents knew about the power he harbored, as their bloodlines were nothing but a mix of many flights, the mix of power of so many different places lead to a collapse, leaving him with dangerous powers which they tried to avoid. But they couldn’t hide it for long, as the day he found himself angered by a cricket he couldn’t catch, unknowingly the powers which he never knew he had, came out as the air around the cricket turned to poison and soon it fell dead.
Uimo was impressed by this, but when he told his parents, fear struck them, as they had no clue what he’d do with such powers. His told him never to use them, but he never listened. He found books teaching how to use spells, and so he did. Spells were cast and they soon spilt out. His parents felt threatened by his power, who got better by the day from reading, and his twisted way of thinking, so they kicked him out, to leave from their home.

Angered by their reaction to his prideful powers, without thinking straight, he killed creatures he saw around him. His face shown nothing but a calm smile, it was his magic which reflected how he felt. When a dragon crossed paths in his reign of anger, they found themselves suffocated to death from the tight air Uimo had changed. With realization of what he’s done, he looked down at the innocent person who he had just killed.
He felt worry, but in the back of his mind felt pride in what he had done, knowing he knew well to use his powers. From behind, he heard the steps of another. Knowing they had seen what had happened, he unleashed what he could onto the stranger, yet it was meet back by magic. Taken aback, every shot he sent was meet with blockage. The stranger told him to follow, and so he did.

Introducing himself as Vueloestelar, a high magic wielder in the kingdom. Uimo was soon faced with a fae, a queen under the name of Meyry. Vueloestelar told her his powers, what he had done and how’d he’d be worthy to joining the reign of the wielders of magic with his broken, dark magic. He proved himself with elegancy, reading the thoughts of one of the peers in the room and changing the air to a poison hue, with a sly smile and plans already forming in her mind, Uimo soon became one of the Magic Wielders in the castle. He was used to read the mind of many others Meyry ordered for and brought pain and suffering by changing the air around them for deserving crimes. Uimo always seem sweet, yet his thoughts were nothing but twisted.

Cernunnos x Uimo

Cernunnos doesn't really treat many dragons outside of his lair. It's not that he denies them - why would he? - but rather it seems his own lair mates are far more reckless than the number of dragons from the outside. So it was surprising to say the least when he saw a spiral who'd simply made their way to pointing silently to his hind leg, which was tangled up in thorns most likely due to passing the Foxfire Bramble. As much as he wanted to question the stranger and his odd ability to know who to come to with an injury, he felt a strange desire to help him that he knew was not his own. Now that he thought about it he realized he couldn't control himself at all, no matter how much he wanted to open his mouth his body simply wouldn't comply.

With a small smile, the coatl unconsciously made his way to him and worked his nimble talons through the hazardous thorns quickly and efficiently.

Uimo never really traveled much, he found it bothersome and quite unappealing. However, despite his frustrating predicament he found the peculiar medic quite adorable and admired just how much the bright coatl contrasted the dark environment greatly. He wasn't sure how willing the stranger would be to assist him, so he had simply manipulated his body to do it. He didn't know how skilled he was however; his manipulation cannot affect how efficiently a dragon works. So he was quite impressed.

"You're quite talented." Uimo had a snarky grin on his face that didn't quite match his complexation. "I know you can't speak right now, but I just wanted to point out how pretty you are, a breath of fresh air in this dreary place. I apologize for the manipulation - it was simply precaution."

He lied about the apology.

It wasn't long before the thorns were finally loose. Cernunnos wanted to treat him further whether or not he was still being controlled, as he wasn't sure the wound was fully disinfected. But this time Uimo slipped away from his grasp and gazed at the dumbfounded coatl once more this time in mid-air, "Thank you for the help. I might just visit you again if I have the time."

It was after the stranger had fled the coatl had finally found his voice, in which he simply mumbled; "You're welcome.."

After Letter from Paresseux

Cernunnos wouldn't forget that strange spiral's manner and face, and quietly slipped away to the spymaster, Fussa, to see if her information network knew anything. It didn't take long for her to find information about the Amythest Kingdom and the magic wielders who served Queen Meyry. It wasn't any great secret. After a few weeks, Uimo would be delivered a letter, tied by brambles that would only loosen at his touch.

Hello, Uimo.

Forgive my invasion of privacy, but you left quite the impression on me. I am the medic who tended your wounds in the Foxfire Bramble. I do hope they healed without complications, the brambles can be so finicky.

Enclosed is a few different gifts that reminded me of you on a whim. Think nothing of them, just my gratitude for your compliment when I was treating you. If you ever come through the forest again, seek out the Revelers and ask for me. I'd be delighted to meet you more properly some time.

Sincerely,
Cernunnos, Head Medic of the New Moon Revelers.
