Frivolous and flippant, Neptune is as hyper as Spirals come. Even when standing still, she'll whirl about and almost accidentally hit nearby dragons. She's not especially strong so it's not that much of a bother, it's just very distracting to almost anyone she's speaking with. And though Neptune is described as quiet, she actually speaks a lot. She just does so in a hushed whisper, making any conversation, however mundane, sound like something that should be a secret. It also makes her pretty hard to track down for a Spiral, especially when paired with her shadow-dragon-like habit of slinking into small nooks and crannies to sleep.

Neptune works as a librarian. She gathers all the research the clan has done and compiles them in one place, as well as transcribing and organizing them when needed. While it's mostly research and reference books, she also keeps things like Libra's trial transcripts, Betelgeuse and Centauri's blueprints and diagrams, and Aster's maps. She goes out to gather new books regularly and writes some of her own stories as well. She writes mainly horror and fantasy, but there will sometimes write biographies, historical analyses, and poems. She's currently been trying to write down a rough history of the clan, though with it's been rather difficult due to Vega dubious claims, Nebula's uncertainty, Betelgeuse's overexaggerations, and Cygnus's closemindedness. Thankfully Pavo has been quite helpful in her endeavor and contributed most of the credible information.
