Betelgeuse the Burning Redgiant ✦ Energetic and gleeful, Betelgeuse never shies away from a challenge. She always burns bright and does everything with the utmost passion. She's quite competitive and will pick a fight with any dragon, no matter the size. She can be easily convinced to do things just by simply suggesting that said thing is outside of her capabilities. She is rather volatile, no slight is small enough for her to hold a grudge. However, she will generally forget the offense after a few days. She can be a bit scatterbrained but there is usually a method to her chaos. When there isn't, her familiars are always there to help her. ✦ Betelgeuse was the engineer on Stella Station. She was originally supposed to simply take care of repairs but she took it upon herself to make multiple improvements to the station that allowed it to be independent from the Astrolab. After the station's crash, Betelgeuse basically holed up within the station and furiously did repairs along with Vega and Centauri. Though Centauri quickly gve up after salvaging what he could, Betelgeuse is still doing all she can to get the station back into it's prime.

Betelgeuse had been traveling with her two familiars before she stumbled upon the clan. She says that she wasn't born to any clan and instead was raised by her two companions the burning virgo, Vol, and the igneous salamander, Cano. The two helped keep her safe and they have been together for all of Betelgeuse's life. She had been seized by wanderlust and decided to wander all around Sorneith. She decided to finally settle down into Vega's clan since it just felt like the correct decision. She's still not sure why but she's happy about it.

Betelgeuse is a rather fast learner and a jack-of-all-trades type. She can usually do anything she's been challenged in with passable skills. However, when she does hit a wall, she becomes even more passionate about it and will hunker down in order to learn it from the ground up. She comes out with an almost complete mastery of whatever it is, though it just might take her a few months or years of her life. This has only happened with 2 things so far though, blacksmithing and fire magic. As such, she currently works as a blacksmith for the clan, creating weapons, armor, and sometimes even explosives.

Vol is the most eloquent of the three. She often helps them get out of trouble since Betelgeuse and Cano are both terrible at foresight. Cano is quite relaxed and surprisingly gentle, though he can be a bit unaware and set things on fire. He has a big appetite and likes nibbling on metals. This habit actually helps to purify metals so Betelgeuse encourages it.
