Betelgeuse the Burning Redgiant ✦ Energetic and gleeful, Betelgeuse never shies away from a challenge. She always burns bright and does everything with the utmost passion. She's quite competitive and will pick a fight with any dragon, no matter the size. She can be easily convinced to do things just by simply suggesting that said thing is outside of her capabilities. She is rather volatile, no slight is small enough for her to hold a grudge. However, she will generally forget the offense after a few days. She can be a bit scatterbrained but there is usually a method to her chaos. When there isn't, her familiars are always there to help her. ✦ Betelgeuse was the engineer on Stella Station. She was originally supposed to simply take care of repairs but she took it upon herself to make multiple improvements to the station that allowed it to be independent from the Astrolab. After the station's crash, Betelgeuse basically holed up within the station and furiously did repairs along with Vega and Centauri. Though Centauri quickly gve up after salvaging what he could, Betelgeuse is still doing all she can to get the station back into it's prime. ✦ Betelgeuse is a rather fast learner and a jack-of-all-trades type. She can usually do anything she's been challenged in with passable skills. However, when she does hit a wall, she becomes even more passionate about it and will hunker down in order to learn it from the ground up. She comes out with an almost complete mastery of whatever it is, though it just might take her a few months or years of her life. ✦ Betelgeuse has 3 familiars, Vol and Cano the twin Virgos, and Ash the Igneous Iguana. Vol is the most eloquent of the three. She often helps the group get out of trouble and smooth things over when Betelgeuse gets too fiery. Cano is keen-eyed and has good attention to detail. She often double checks finished products and makes sure everything is up to standard. Ash is quiet and a bit oblivious at times, but can purify metals by nibbling on them. She does share custody of Ash with Rayet with the two taking care of him together. |
