______Born with goat eyes, Elderyth has always felt disconnected from everyone else around her. Social, yet awkward, she tried her best to find her place. Eventually, the young dragon gave up in her endeavors and left the clan she called home.

______What the little crow could not understand was that her home nest actually loved her very much and tried hard to include her. Unfortunately, she had never been able to pick up on this, and despite all of their efforts, the young dragon remained feeling like she would never fit in.

______So away she ran, starting her adventure on the big open seas as a small stowaway in a ship that she was able to sneak into the night before it left the dock. Of course, she was found not long after the sun rose the next day and was brought to the captain. Alas, her cute little eyes kept her on board.

______Growing up on this ship, Elderyth slowly climbed the ranks until she was officially named a captain. Moving to her own ship, the crow began to sail in solidarity. Being on the open sea exhilirated her, and finally she could enjoy it without the distraction of a crew.

______Eventually, her journeys led her to the frozen seas. Her ship inevitably losing control during a snow storm, she wrecked and woke up in the arms of a strange wildclaw. Panic overtook her and she attacked him. But when he stood his ground, seemingly unfazed, she stopped to actually look at the dragon.

______It was when he caught her staring, open jawed, that Aurus laughed and explained to her how he had found her on the shores of the ice flow. Again he was taken off guard by her panic as she cut him off, asking about her familiar and if he was okay. Aurus stared blankly at her for a moment, then explained that her warcat was safe and was currently resting within the walls of his clan, which was where he was taking her before she so rudely woke up and attacked him.

______And it is like this that she met the love of her life. Now married to the other, she has contently moved into his clan and learned to adapt. With his help, she was able to better grasp how to socialize with other dragons and, in return, she shared her many stories of travels to the often bored veteran. She misses the open seas, but for once, her home feels like a home. She wouldn't leave it for anything.
