"The ache for home lives in all of us."
Head of the Core, Palmeri is the stalwart leader of the Steppes. She is the first and last line of defense for the clan, and would give her life to protect any dragon under her care. Palmeri takes her duties deadly serious, but is herself a rather deadpan personality. She is close friends with all of the Core, and she takes tea with Orchidea and Lilith every other week.

Palmeri is rather a mystery to most of the dragons of the clan, keeping herself reserved to the innermost part of the Heart and rarely leaving. However, she is quite popular with those who were raised in the Steppes; she spends much of her time with the hatchlings, helping them with their studies, playing with them, and reading them stories, though her monotone delivery is more likely to set the little ones to sleep than anything else. Despite her closed off nature, there is not a soul that would doubt her dedication to and love for every dragon who resides within her clan.
