HIMALAYA
gardener/apothecary

I want to watch wisteria grow right over my bare feet

Dried Cedar Branch Empty Zalis Nest Maple Leaf Avian Gemstaff Blooming Vine

Himalaya is the clan's main apothecary. She's a master of herbs and knows exactly what to use for any ailment under the sun, from sickness to stress. If Swampgrass decides a dragon needs some sort of medicinal plant, she sends them straight to Himalaya's garden. This garden is located on the edge of the lair, near the Greenhouse, and sits next to a small, sturdy building where Himalaya lives and stores the plants she's picked from outside. Recently, Nil has begun to live in this building as well, helping tend to the garden.

Personality-wise, Himalaya is gentle and compassionate, with none of the trademark haughtiness her breed is known for. She adores plants seemingly more than life itself, and she's always collecting more for her garden. Her home is full of notebooks detailing what types of flora are useful for what purposes, although unlike the guide Swampgrass is compiling Himalaya's journals focus only on medicinal plants rather than edible ones.

Notably, Himalaya is also capable of performing simple shadow magic, which she uses to customize the daily light levels each of her plants gets. This means that even in the bright Sunbeam Ruins she can keep certain plants healthy and happy despite their varying light needs.

» Her notes include detailed, realistic drawings of plants, and sometimes they even have dried leaves or flowers stuck to the pages!
» Like many shadow dragons, Himalaya prefers cool, dark settings rather than warm, sunny ones; regardless, she left the Tangled Wood in the hope of finding a better place to grow her plants.
» She usually has herbs hanging on her wings to dry; because of this, she's usually accompanied by a strong-yet-pleasant aroma.
» She is in love with Error, but although they've had a child together he isn't one for long-term relationships. Even so, her feelings for him have never died.
