General Shivang stands right beneath Gregory in ranks. She is his right hand, his most loyal guard. Whatever his orders, Shivang follows. She aims to share his discipline, tries to impress him by being the quickest, strongest, and most efficient of his knights. Scars cover her body from the many times she has sought out a fight, been a bit too daring to catch his attention. But none of these wounds in her skin come even close to the pain she feels upon his rejection.

The general does not like to talk about her past. Only few know of her education in a far-off land, and even fewer have heard the stories of her childhood. The latter Shivang only shared with Gregory, revealing some of her vulnerability to him in an attempt to win his heart. As one of many daughters in a poor family, Shivang never had an easy standing. There was no money to support them, no food to feed all mouths. Shivang often went hungry, as did her siblings. The parents, overwhelmed with their responsibility, were neglectful and blamed the children for their situation. Born with stubbornness and a temper, Shivang often got into fights with them until eventually, they refused to lend her shelter anymore. Shivang was exiled from her family, left alone in the world in her early years of adolescence. From there on out, she had to make her own way in the world. With pure luck, she found a master that did teach her: an old knight. For him, she did the lowest of jobs, cleaning out stables and cleaning his shoes, only so that he would teach her some of his knowledge. She held her head low best she could and endured… until one day, she could endure no more. She killed her master with his own sword after he spat into her face. Then she left into the unknown again.

With a small band of mercenaries by her side, Shivang gained some renown in the land. Now suddenly in a position of power, she treated her subordinates poorly, as she herself had been treated in her young years. It is no wonder the mercenaries eventually turned against her and left her alone, stranded in the territory of duchess Katalin. However, Gregory had heard stories about Shivang’s work and arranged for a position at the castle. Shivang immediately felt drawn towards the chief of knights and ever since then tries to win him over. She does her best to keep her temper under control, but the bitterness over Gregory’s rejection causes her to abuse her power against those beneath her. Both Siegfried and Andras suffer under her wrath, a wrath that burns brighter with every humiliation.
