An attempt to toy with ones' own mortality and test the limits of technological might, Caithegeis went about studying the capabilities of a draconic mind to exist outside of the physical, material body though a series of experiments involving implementing draconic consciousness into mechanical objects. Unfortunately, the majority of these experiments ended in failure, the minds implemented into these mechanical shells degrading over time until they were entirely dependent on external stimuli to function. The failure of his experiments drew the mockery of his colleagues, which drove him to madness and later a voluntary exile from the scientific community. Reports of what became of him after this exile differ, however near all widely-accepted accounts end in his untimely demise.
