Nightfall

___Despite hatching on what is considered to be the spookiest night of the year, and one with a blue moon, Nightfall seems to have inherited more of the sweet and fun side of it's traditions. She is definitely a sweet tooth, and is one of Torte's regular buyers. She is almost always seeking fun, but she never wishes to cast fear on others in the process.
___Her claws that look like bones, general color scheme, and being the first Wildclaw to arrive at the clan can give many hatchlings a bad first impression, but once Nightfall can get over those barriers she loves to help care for the little ones. If she's bored, then the first place she'll go is probably the main hatchery. While Amethyst isn't always happy at first that Nightfall will often accidently scare the hatchlings, she is secretly grateful for the extra claws to help out around the hatchery once Nightfall manages to properly introduce herself to the hatchlings. While Nightfall doesn't have as much experience as Amethyst, she is one of the most sweetest and most loving dragon you will meet, and that certainly helps give her an advantage in getting the hatchlings to understand that no, she's not a ghost or anything of the like, she just wants to help.
___Nightfall will often venture out during her namesake to watch the stars. She especially loves nights when a full moon is present, as "While it is dark, yes, the moon makes it all light up in soothing colors. It doesn't feel creepy or strange to me like some other dragons have said, it just feels... Like I'm not alone out there. I can be at peace." ___Nightfall was puzzled when the imperial hatchling arrived to the hatchery. Instead of conversing with the other dragonets, they simply sat next to a window and made things. It had been a few days of this before Nightfall decided that if nobody was going to talk to the imperial, then she was; she didn't want then to feel lonely, and it could be hard to find good friends in this place (coming from her experience, anyway). The Imperial appeared to be knitting at the time when Nightfall wandered across the hatchery to her. She seemed a bit startled at their approach, but Nightfall tried to be as welcoming as possible (it was hard, however, and it stung to know that she might have come off as intimidating to yet another dragon). "Hello! You seemed a bit lonely over here, so I thought that maybe I could join you, if you'd like? What's your name?" The flicking of the Imperial's tail gave away that they were a little nervous. "U-uh... Hello! I, ah, I'm Ossa, and that would be f-fine. What's your... Your, uh, your name?" Ossa was clearly a bit flustered, fidgeting with the ball of yarn clutched in her talons, although they didn't seem to be scared of Nightfall. Nightfall smiled, glad that they didn't seem to be coming off to them as scary like they did to most dragonets. "That's a nice name! I'm Nightfall. Why are you sitting here by yourself? Is that a scarf you're making? It's really pretty! Oh, sorry, am I taking too much?" Ossa paused, and silence seemed to settle in, but then Ossa laughed quietly, which startled Nightfall slightly as while she wasn't sure what she expected as a response that probably wasn't it. To Nightfall's surprise she found a laugh bubbling up inside her, and set it free.
___The two grew to become great friends, and Nightfall continued to return to the Hatchery to visit Ossa even when the Wildclaw was old enough to leave the hatchery entirely. Nightfall was incredibly excited for Ossa on the day that Ossa was officially old enough to leave the hatchery completely and make or find her own den. Everything seemed normal when Nightfall arrived, but much to Nightfall's surprise and awe, Ossa gifted Nightfall a white scarf that was embroidered on one end with a pattern including a moon, and she said it was as thanks for being such a great friend to her and helping melt away her worries about if joining the Lapis clan was the right thing to do or not. The scarf was a bit messy, but clearly made with care and intention. Nightfall was stunned at the sudden gift, but accepted it with boundless gratefulness and joy, and a hug. Nightfall has never been seen without her scarf since, and it holds a special place in her heart. The pair has only grown closer ever since, and you'll almost never see them apart.
