Rebelshade

Shade-beings who take the form of dragons or dragons cursed by their afflictions, but instead of carrying out the will of their kind, they have developed resistance against their abominable nature, and thus choose to use the elements given to other dragons. Rebelshade dragons often avoid association with the Shade at all costs, choosing to favor the Eleven, their clans, go solo, or in rare cases even align with those of the Beastclans.

The Rebelshade dragons may take on any elemental affinity, color, species and gene combinations, but Pearlcatcher dragons within black-ranged colors and striking, sparkling genes are the most abundant among this subspecies.

Any dragon can produce Rebelshade offspring for as long as one of the paired mates is a Rebelshade dragon themselves.
